My name is Jaynie. I am 34 and have three boys aged 5, 4, and 2 years. I was a tandem breastfeeder and was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer. I have used donor breastmilk for over a year now and appreciated every drop. Please check out my facebook pages, Boob 2 Babe and Love for Jaynie. Here begins my journey..........

Hi Jaynie, where are you based? I'm in Auckland and am breastfeeding my 17 month old. Can also ask around.
ReplyDeleteHi Jaynie, Unsure if you got my message on facebook. I am extremely keen to help you. I live in Timaru. Please contact me by email kendyllmitchell@yahoo.co.nz
ReplyDeleteThanks
Kendyll
Hi, i am also in Timaru (perhaps we could share chilly box with above poster) and have been pumping to donate to another bubba as well as exclusively breastfeeding my own 4 month old - have just stopped donating but my milk supply is still up for feeding two babies and you are welcome to it all! Email me reneeklyons@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI'm a nursing mom, but too far away and have trouble pumping. I just wanted to share with you a place in the US (I've never been but met and spoken to the director when he visited here in Vancouver, B.C.) It's called Hippocrates Health Institute. They may be able to give you some alternative options? http://www.hippocratesinst.org/ Sending you strength and support from across the ocean!
ReplyDeleteHi there Jaynie. My name's Kiri, I live in West Auckland. I only have a tiny amount of expressed BM left (I was pumping for two plus feeding my own a while ago) but you're welcome to what's there. I don't have enough to warrant a whole chilly bin, but perhaps could add to someone else's? My email is kiri.hills@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I can't donate milk (live in South Island, plus I have CMV which makes me an unsuitable milk donor), but I just want to wish you all the best for your treatment. I hope there are lots of other Mums out there who are able to help you.
I think you are very brave xx
Ow ow ow! Hope its easing today. Lots and lots of Vit c for antioxident benefits! Lots!
